GEORGETOWN \u2013 Michael Chong, d\u00e9put\u00e9 de Wellington\u2014Halton Hills, a annonc\u00e9 aujourd\u2019hui un investissement de 350\u00a0000\u00a0$ du gouvernement du Canada pour l\u2019am\u00e9lioration du centre culturel de Halton Hills afin d\u2019appuyer les arts et la culture du Canada.<\/p>\n

Cet investissement vise les travaux de r\u00e9novation de la nouvelle galerie Helson, une galerie d\u2019art professionnelle ouverte au public qui fait partie du projet d\u2019\u00e9largissement du centre culturel de Halton Hills. Le public pourra donc voir pour la premi\u00e8re fois l\u2019importante et pr\u00e9cieuse collection d\u2019art canadien de la galerie Helson.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Le gouvernement du Canada valorise grandement l\u2019art et la culture du Canada, a indiqu\u00e9 M.\u00a0Chong. C\u2019est pourquoi nous sommes fiers d\u2019appuyer cette collection d\u2019\u0153uvres canadiennes embl\u00e9matiques qui comprend des toiles du Groupe des Sept. Les r\u00e9sidents de la r\u00e9gion pourront enfin voir ces \u0153uvres d\u2019art.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Les investissements du gouvernement du Canada proviennent du Fonds du Canada pour les espaces culturels<\/a> du minist\u00e8re du Patrimoine canadien. Ce fonds sert \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les conditions mat\u00e9rielles qui favorisent la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 artistique ainsi que les expositions et pr\u00e9sentations artistiques.
