With the passage of the Transportation Modernization Act through Parliament, the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) is beginning a consultation process across Canada to develop regulations for airlines’ obligations to air passengers. This consultation process has already begun and will end on August 28th, 2018. Topics that are being discussed include delays, compensation, baggage, and passenger treatment. The CTA is giving Canadians many channels through which they can provide feedback. To complete the CTA’s questionnaire, write an online submission, or get more information on the in-person consultations planned across Canada, visit www.airpassengerprotection.ca.
